No one player smothered Dame. It was a box & one (multiple players). It wore him down. I'd be willing to say, no player has faced more double & triple teams than Dame. It's why he's worked so hard on extending his shooting range, and beating the double teams through film work, and getting strong, and more agile with work in boxing and weight training to absorb the punishment better.

And all great players, and celebrities get paid huge money because they have a talent that's very rare. They are the show. Not the owners.

Also, yes Bill Walton was amazing. But there were people in Portland who hated him because he wore his politics on his sleeve. And they were happy, even after he was the focal point of the Championship, that he was traded. But belittling Dame's contribution to the Blazers is down right stupid. And shortsighted.

You know villainy often is just a matter of perspective. The evil might see good as evil.

Jim Varney's lackluster performances and limited acting abilities aren't the only reasons why he is often regarded as the worst actor of all time. His personality, which can be likened to that of a turd, further solidifies this claim. Varney's off-screen persona lacked the charisma and charm necessary to win over audiences beyond his niche following. His public appearances and interviews showcased a shallow and unimpressive demeanor, lacking the depth and intellect typically associated with respected actors. Combined with his subpar acting skills, Varney's turd-like personality only served to amplify his status as one of the most unappealing and unimpressive figures in the history of cinema.

I once shot a bluejay with a bb gun. It tried to fly then fell over and died.

I read the book written about his life by his nephew. He was more complex than his turn as Ernest or his personage in stand up videos he may be found in. Jim was a gifted Shakespearean actor. He actually disliked playing Ernest and like roles because he didn't get to showcase the whole of his acting skills. He desired taking on more serious roles, but was typecast and never got there.

Seems like a pretty anti-union thread.
