That's a no for me. Play them in a three guard rotation. 32 minutes each. None of them need to play the three. Start Scoot and Shaedon and have Ant come off the bench. I honestly think it would boost Ant's trade value for contending teams to see that he's worth his contract in that role.
I like this option the best too; if Ant and the team thrive because he's our third guard, let him be our Microwave. If not, pump and dump him in a trade for an asset and picks. Either way it'll be fine with me. But I do see times when we use that small lineup for speed.
except it's already out there that Dame asked to be traded last Monday...which makes tons of sense since that was the day Dame and his agent met with Cronin
Boys and Girls, Once upon a time when a little bitch wanted to form a "superteam" with 2 other superstars. He "took his talents to South Beach" in hopes of championships. I dunno why that story came to mind...
They sure did a good job keeping it secret. I do think Damian would have stayed if they got someone on Draymond's level but that was never realistic. So he was asking for something he knew couldn't happen and then said if it doesn't then I am out.
I wonder of this all players in the same "window" strategy is even worth trying anymore. Playing a ton of young guys more than they would on a typical team will likely increase their value once their rookie deal is up, and teams will be punished for trying to re-sign more than 2 of them to big time deals.
Yep. You don't want them all the same age. All 3 within 3 seasons of each other? Sure. So PF in our draft this next year. Top 5 pick? Sure.
I never believed he came back from Paris and immediately met with Joe and brought his agent along just to say I want to stay. That never rang true to me. At least now we can concentrate on one task of building with new, young talent. It might not work, but it hasn't exactly been great ball around here the last couple years anyways.
Then he turned around and trolled the blazer faithful with the Draymond Green stunt. Lost a lot of respect for him. He knew he was asking out and was just trolling the fans that had stood behind him.
Renting out a entire restaurant to make it look like he was recruiting Green when he knew he was asking out.
Nate beat me to it, but what you say is a stunt didn't happen but don't let that stop you from searching for a reason to hate Dame now
