ya dame's not going anywhere. Tweeting @ the nba to schedule our game vs the Hawks the day after a fight so he can presumably go to it in ATL. Liking the post with Brown's contract signing on IG.
Yeah, obviously the reports that he's going to give the team a chance to prove that they can contend under Chauncey were accurate. At the same time we don't know the timeline he's given Neil to make the team competitive enough. We don't even know what's enough for Dame. So I'm still a little uncertain that we can just take for granted that we'll have Dame on the team at the end of the season if we're not doing markedly better than we were last season before the trade deadline.
That's not the idea. The only reason I want Tobias is instead of Wiggins, who is worse in every way but paid the same. I agree that it would be best to get some other team just to absorb salary, but what team? The Rockets or OKC are the best bets, but do either of them want Simmons?
i realize you want to create a Dame trade thread every week but think your time would be better spent on a Philly forum coming up with idiotic Simmons trades instead.
How do you know I'm not doing that too? Don't EVER underestimate me. Also? Somebody who knows what's on everyone's Instagram ever and tracks what planes people MIGHT be on has no business telling anyone else how to spend their time.
Don't think Dame would want to go to a super team like the Lakers or the Nets, but he does want a running mate....
Chris Paul got real close for the first time at age 37 after multiple teams....Lamarcus chased two ring ..one with Duncan and Ginobli and another with KD and Harden.....both ended up not getting them a chip...ring chasers don't always win rings....Karl Malone didn't get one with the Lakers....Dame knows after team USA what it's like to be a second fiddle....I think he prefers the alpha seat at the table in Portland
Spurs want Simmons, Sixers don't want what Spurs have to offer because they don't have a current all-star. This is a great start on a rebuild for Portland - we would be a defensive terror, and built like a young version of the Clippers. (Yes, I know Dame almost certainly won't be traded this season, but this is what my brain does for a hobby.)
