I heard through the grape vine that the league is fixing it so these two meet head to head in the finals.( green font) That would be simply awesome if they did meet up!!! Who would you root for and why? I might actually root for CJ since Milwaukie has won one already. But man, i love Dame and he deserves a ring in my opinion. Tough tough call for me.
Someone tell me why it would be CJ. Dame is at the very least one of the top 3 Blazers of all time, he still calls our city home, he needs a title to complete his legacy and I don't give a fuck about how he demanded a trade after the team did exactly what he said would result in him leaving. That last point is one of contention but the rest seem to me that they'd be universally agreed upon by Blazers fans.
There are big time Zion fans here. Some may not like Doc. Milwaukie has already won. Some think Dame screwed the organization with the Miami only demand. I know you mentioned this, but some others may not care you don't give a fuck and they may still give a fuck.
Yet no one has voted for CJ, they're either pro Dame or apathetic. It's a worthwhile thread/conversation to have but logic would dictate that most of our fanbase would want to see Dame with a ring or not have a preference if it's not the Blazers in the finals. I guess we'll see. I think there could be some spiteful votes for CJ that are actually just against Dame.
I voted for Dame too, but you really should lighten up. Its a "for fun" thread. I expect Dame to dominate. You are taking this sooo serious.. like everything... Not everything has to have a logical stamp on it my friend. Have some fun once in a while bro.
I just voted CJ, but it has nothing to do with Dame or CJ. The concept of Doc winning a title this year is sickening.
This made it much harder for me, but I decided Dame getting a ring supersedes Doc not winning. But here is to hoping they fire him and hire Stotts who can then also get a ring, eh?
