I think he's smart enough to understand that he needs to draw more fouls (along with improve defense) to truly become an MVP level player. He's always added something to his game in the off season. I think he's made the conscious decision to drive more.
The game seems to look so easy for him now. I think we're going to see a couple triple doubles this season... He should not be able to rebound that well. Is that a bold prediction or something other people see?
If he gets one or two of the other shooters really going in a game its going to happen... I can picture him really enjoying a game where he's just dishing and rebounding because CJ and AC both scored 35.
I would have to do that every day of his Blazer career from this point forward. He's simply renewed my faith and excitement for our team. In Dame I trust!
Also, he's a PG who's leading his team in points, assists, and REBOUNDS (at 8.0/game). He's leading his team in PER at 31.7 - the next highest blazer is 19.2 (Vonleh). Lillard is way too modest, and would never put his teammates in an embarrassing situation. This is one of the reasons why I like him, but part of me, I must admit, would enjoy him singing this song:
Sorry, but to me that is a concern, not a blessing. Yes, great for his stats, but great for the team?
