He has definitely played godly, while the rest of the team has played like sinners.

If Dame were in a big market, he'd be considered a top-7 star.

When he missed 7 games last season with his foot...CJ had career numbers and led the team....he's got to shoulder that responsibility if it comes down to that but isn't it illegal to talk about our best player and injury in the same sentence? ouch!!!!

Westbrook scores 51 on 44 shots and he's considered top 3, and he plays in fucking Cowtown.

It helps that he had Durant - more exposure to RW.

It also helps they had some teams go deep into the playoffs.

And he has been the league longer, and people freak out about the trip dubs.

Do we have a top 5 nba player right now? When's the last time that happened, Drexler?

Was Drexler ever top 5? His career overlapped with so many great players (Jordan, Bird, Magic, Stockton, Malone, Barkley, Hakeem, Davis Robinson, Isiah). He was the 11th player selected for the Dream Team (and that didn't even include Hakeem, who was not a US citizen).

He was number two at his position, so not top 5 but definitely top 10. He was well respected in the media though.

Except he's not. He's earning all the calls he's getting. The refs still let a lot slide when he's attacking the basket.

What's the source/basis for this list?

    How are these rankings determined?
