Sure, but a return of Vonleh and Gerald fuckin’ Henderson was really bad.

Might mean our first is up for discussion as well. I just hope it’s not for Mirotic. Love the guy but not that much.

Still a weird time to mention it. What three years after it happened?

You’re right, Mirotic isn’t worth that nor is he the caliber of player that’s going to excite Dame or the fan base. I think the move made will have to be much bigger than that.

My theory is that Haynes has some sort of connection to Barton from his time in Portland.

I would criticize Olshey for the trades he hasn't made, not the tiny number he has made. Bring back Bob and let's get this town rockin'!

Wow. I typed apostrophe, exclamation mark. My fingers are tingling.

Is Haynes on good terms with Olshey? Neil is draconian about his press relations.

It might be time to think about putting every valuable asset the block, McCollum, Collins, Nurkic, Napier . . . ummmmmmm . . . ?

I doubt it. I have no doubt he’s in touch with Dame (and probably CJ) though. He’s always had good sources.

Glad this happened. We might actually see some changes soon or this summer. Interesting he still has that barton trade on his mind but I understand as they were close. Time to shake this roster up. Trade CJ man. Dame is the man around here, build around him in his prime years, hail mary that shit like presti I don't care but it's obvious dame wants to bring a title to Portland. he isn't trying to leave. However if he is stuck in a couple more years of mediocrity he could very well ask for a trade. What also stood out to me here is the fact Allen himself was actually worried Dame might ask for a trade.

These next few weeks just got a looot more interesting. I’m expecting to see Portland brought up in a lot of trade rumors as Neil tries to save his ass.

I’d have Milwaukee and Utah on speed dial trying to work something out for Middleton, Parker and Hood.

They're not "getting" anything for those scrubs, The'll be "giving" plenty just to get rid of one or two of them. Unfortunately, there's not enough left in the bribery slush-fund to get rid of all three this summer.

I still remember last years deadline when everyone (including all the big media types) assumed Portland would be the most active team. Then Olshey gets on a phone interview after the deadline passed with no movement (except swapping one center for another) and he smugly starts joking about how quiet the phones were. Just infuriated me for some reason.

This is Lillard's worst shooting year. But it has forced our frontline to show their stuff, and they're better than advertised. Good thing Ed Davis made a comeback this season.

Lillard isn't making his demands from the position of strength he had last year. He's a peg lower on the totem pole. McCollum is about 10 feet lower, and is the most overpaid player in the NBA. Stotts' pigheadedness caused him to ignore Napier all this time, and Stotts still claims that Napier is merely a sometime-shotmaker, ignoring his playmaking.

I swear if we wake up February 8th to "Portland Trail Blazer star Damian Lillard traded to New York Knicks for Frank Ntilikina, Tim Hardaway Jr, Doug McDermott, and an undisclosed future first round pick" I will cry
