Just saying about that old line, "To get a good job, you need a good education" That's all it is. Its just a line. Good for Lillard though! He wanted it so good accomplishment!!
Just trying to help here: You didn't give examples of people getting good jobs without a good education. You gave examples of people with an education not getting good jobs.
Agreed. It's awesome that he had a goal to graduate and followed it through even though he didn't have to. I want that guy on my team. Regardless he already had a good 4 year basketball degree that qualified him for his current career. I'd say he already had a good business education before he finished the last three credits for his degree. But the degree is the trophy so good for him.
The implication of 'four bar friday' is that not EVERY friday he goes to four bars, it's the exception. Most Fridays he goes to at least six. barfo
It sounds like one of those liberal studies degrees where your adviser lets you set your own curriculum.
He'll probably WANT to do something after his NBA career is finished. I doubt that NEED will have much to do with it.
This old line is just that, an old line. Of course, education and training are completely different regardless of whether that is recognized in the popular culture. Another old line: "it's not how you start it's how you finish." He certainly knows how to finish... Congrats to Damian.
