Only that it's not. @HailBlazers is probably one of the better people in this forum. I've met him multiple times I real life. He's A really great guy.

I will say though, that this way of posting has been scorned in the past and even though I swore off doing it, I'm still asked by mods to not do it for bullshit reasons.

    That should apply to all...

I honestly don't get how it can be so hard to ignore what some random people say on a forum on the internet. Like when I see some guys going back and forth over pointless shit for pages and pages in a thread I just don't get it... Do they really have nothing better to do with their time ?

This unfortunately is increasingly the way humans interact now.

Face to face interaction isn't valued nearly as much as it used to be.

I don't think it isn't valued, it's that f2f interaction takes more energy. In these point and click times, a lot more energy.
It's just a lot easier to interact online, though obviously less meaningful.

Good post. IMO it's a combination of both. Sometimes the effort is given but the outcome of the interaction isn't as pleasant so it prevents future interactions.

I think for some, it depends on the relationship. Many here have met, some on multiple occasions and become friends. So there is still that F2F there.

I think more of the back and forth comes from those who have not met. I think it is several things. The need to be right is a large part of it though. Ive been caught up in it, though not usually for pages and pages.

I think most people handle themselves fairly well here overall, even with many trollish comments in most threads.

    You know what? Fuck you!

Just playin'! Honestly though, having met you several times was the only reason when you had your recent meltdown(s) that it didn't bother me as much as if you were just some random anonymous internet troll.

We should all meet. If think it would better help understand one another and communication on the board.

When I first joined here, I wanted a huge Blazers family. Come to find out this place has clicks and I got caught up in it. Oh well. Moved on these days, but damn it if we dont all have something in common we should be able to grasp on to to help communication and compromise when tensions run high.
    The Blazers!!!

Now if the Blazers are the heart of the issue, I dunno what to tell ya!

Oh and whys it gotta be Plural? meltdowns(s). HAHA

I do troll alot here though. Its fun to trigger. Lot more fun than getting triggered. LOL
