I heard from someone that it's customary for players to all donate generously at the end of the season, regardless of a PO bonus, to give the support crew a "tip" for their hard work over the course of the season...and that LA was the only player who didn't contribute.
Just wear a condom. And btw, fuck Raymond Felton in the donut hole and Darius Miles in the crack pipe.
Forget just being a good ambassador for the Blazers or the NBA... or even sports in general. This dude is who every person should strive to be. “We have to realize we are in position to make an impact on people’s lives,’’ Lillard said.
And the MF has a Hip-Hop album in TODAY'S market that my 10 year old can listen to... Let that sink in for a bit... I mean, WTF Dame? If I ever had any significant time to talk to him I would say: "There's something you need to work on." Being inquisitive he'd probably answer: "What's that?" I would have to concede and say: "Hell, I don't know, but there's gotta be something!"
Lillard needs to be the Grand Marshal of this year's Rose Parade. "Elvis" from the Church of Elvis is going to be the Grand Marshal for this year's Starlight Parade.
Thats pretty redicilous of him if true. The guy does hold grudges so maybe his PB sandwich wasn't ready on time one time and forever that guy never receives a tip
Holy crap--I don't think I've ever seen a player specifically say that he'd rather NOT win a title than win one on a different team.
For what it's worth, it came to me from a friend I went to high school with who was told this by a friend of his who works for the Blazers that we both went to HS with. I don't think either the guy I know, or the guy* it originated from, would make it up. And it wasn't just ONE person that LA didn't tip - he didn't tip anyone. He took his money and went home. *The guy the info came from has been mentioned on the forum.
If Lillard truly only wants to win in Portland. He better convenience Olshey & Allen to go for more vets instead of all these young rooks. And I'm not talking about vets that do a lot of riding the pine for other teams.
