KAT is 10 times the player Ayton is. He can make a shot outside of the key.

Ant/Nurk for Ayton/Craig would work, Not sure if we get better though, seems like a lateral move.

to me Kat is even more of a headcase. Ayton seems more athletic and capable of switching on pick and roll but Kat is better outside shooter. I would prefer the better defender

I wouldn’t be interested in trading Ant for Ayton. My personal interest in Ayton would be contingent on too many things for it to be feasible.

10 times the belly weight does not equal 10 times the player. With Voodoo donuts a few blocks away, Portland is a terrible destination for KAT.

2-3 guys who can command attention on offense. One guy who can score down low and 1-2 guys who can score at all three levels. Fill out the team with someone who cares more about rebounds than his own family and 1-2 more guys that care more about keeping their opponent 5-10 points below their average

Blazers are ALREADY fucked because Dame, Shaedon and Grant all want the ball

The fascination of scoring by this forum is baffling

    I don’t think it’s scoring. It’s all stars. It’s names.

The main issue is that we STILL don’t have a legit second star. Sharpe might be that guy one day. Simons isn’t that guy. Grant is maybe a third star. But we desperately need a Brian Grant or Dale Davis.

still think Phoenix needs to attach an asset if they want someone to take Ayton's contract. And i feel like Ant + 23 alone doesn't get us to OG. this accomplishes most of that while giving PHX a bunch of smaller contracts on lock for at least another year.

Keep 3 and pick BPA. Boom, two timelines, threaded needle.

    Dame
    Shaedon
    OG
    Grant
    Ayton

    with Scoot(3)/Thybulle/etc off the bench.

I really really really don’t think Amen is the guy unless we are fully blowing it up.

PHX just won the Beals trade. Now they need depth and Ayton is the obvious piece to break up.
    Nurkic + Nas + Knox + Johnson = Ayton
    $28.8 out / $32.5 in

I know Ayton isn’t the center of choice, but Dame, Sharpe, Matisse, SF (Ant +3), Grant, Ayton is better.

I think Ayton would be a new player here. Unlike Zion, Ayton is in shape. I'm thinking Phoenix would actually rather have Matisse. He is the type of depth they need.

10 times better because he can hit a 3?? There’s more to the game than that. Ayton’s range stretches out to 15 feet by the way.

We can get Zion AND Ayton,

    Dame/Mays
    Sharpe/Reddish
    Grant/Thybulle
    Zion/Walker
    Ayton/Eubanks

    Dude, that team would rock!

Cant let Matisse go. He is the only decent defender

I don't know how a sign and trade of Grant would work anymore, but it might be possible. But then Ayton is the 4th option again, as in Phoenix. He thinks more of himself than that. And he is money 15 feet and in. Pretty jumper.

How are people going to feel if our offseason is:

    Brandon Miller
    DeAndre Ayton
    Draymond Green (sign him)

    Dame
    Sharpe
    Grant/Miller
    Green
    Ayton

Is that enough to keep Dame happy? We don't waste our pick or trade Sharpe. We would be... more.... competitive. Not sure if that's actually a decent team though.

I just don't see Draymond leaving the Warriors. I would be great adding Miller and Ayton, both being so young.
