Dampier to get seven years, $73M from Mavs

They gave up very little, added the tough guy center they've lacked forever and put themselves in a position to compete for an NBA championshp. Long term? It's pretty nasty. They paid way too much and gave Dampier way too many years. For two or three years, Mavs fans will love this trade. After that, it's going to be a nightmare. </div>
