I didn't get shut down. I clearly stated that Isiah Thomas would be willing to make a bad move AGAIN and get a bad contract along with a bad player.

But the thing is is that it wouldn't be a bad move. Getting rid of Q would only be a good thing. Even if they're getting Darius Miles in return, he's still a superior player to Q, and you were the one saying Q was the superior player and never proved it.

You can't really say Miles has a bad contract when Q's is just as long as his.

How did I not prove my point?? I posted stats for career avgs. and also the down season that Q-Rich had. Coincidentally it was DMiles' career year.

You did post all of those stats and averages, but you still haven't responded to everyone's counter-points regarding your arguements.

MAN!!! I can't wait to see where Miles goes!!!! The season is right around the corner, hell, he might just stay put. It does seem to me that he & Nate DO get along. They've been in touch during this off-season.

That's the way I see it. Isiah isn't looking to trade. If a team comes along with the right offer (well, at least to him) then we'll pull the trigger. Since Isiah is one of the few actually interested in Miles, then he'll probably just stay in Portland. I think if he doesn't have any injuries he'll be pretty productive this year.

The only thing that you did was show stats and then disregard the ones that mattered. You always said how good of a three point shooter he was because he was second in the league a couple seasons back. You neglected to realize that the reason he was so high is because of how many he shot, not because he was shooting a very high clip, cause he wasn't doing that. Then you said he's a good shooter, but his career FG% would say otherwise, so would almost every season outside of his rookie seasons FG%. You never really came with anything legit and backed down from a lot of the stats that would say opposite of your argument.

I said DMiles had a better FG% and QRich is a better overall pure shooter than Miles.

a "good shooter" that doesn't even crack the 40% mark on his career. You can be the best shooter in the world, but it is a pretty useless skill to have if you just chuck shots and have a piss-poor field goal percentage. The fact that its so low is not because he isn't a worse shooter than Miles, but because of his poor shot selection. Miles on the other hand, doesn't have this problem.

Q is by no means a pure shooter, he's a chucker. Pure shooters don't shoot around the .400 mark for a career. I really don't see how you can even bother to call him that. Pure shooters are the likes of the Ray Allen, who not only shoots well from the arc, but also well from the field, as noted by his .447 career mark shooting .399 career mark from the arc. Q isn't close. He's a volume shooter/scorer. He scores by shooting a lot, just like Allen Iverson. He's never going to be a good shooter and will be lucky to break .420 for a season the way he plays.

Allen Iverson scores a little bit more than 8.2 ppg. [IMG]

Not to mention 6 more assists per game and 1.3 more spg.

Exactly. Q-Rich had a bad year last season it doesn't mean that DMiles is better than him.

I think even when comparing career wise stats of Darius Miles to Q-Rich, based on the fact Miles shoots 7% better FG% career wise, as well I think Q-Rich has back problems and his man to man defense is bad.
