How is a grown man going to cry over a basketball move??????? It's not that serious.
As much pressure as there is to blow it up, I still wouldn't be surprised if no major moves are made. While its becoming increasingly evident that the proper basketball decision is to rebuild, the decision to keep Kidd isn't all about winning games. We've got an owner who was never really that big a basketball fan, and didn't buy the team to win games. So while I become increasingly comfortable with blowing the team up, I don't think losing any more games will put increased pressure on the organization to trade him. What would really cause some change, IMO, is for Kidd to lose favor with the Nets fan base.
I think that Kidd should be constantly monitored with TV cameras for the 24 hours leading up to the trade deadline, so that when Thorn actually does pussy out and not make a move, we can watch Kidd's head explode live. Directly after this, Thorn should call Kidd directly and offer him Dumpy's $1 buyout.
