Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) Between Bendtner and Chamakh, both being fairly unreliable and lacking finishing grace, I suppose I would keep Bendtner just for his youth and in-air ability. Bendtner has at least shown flashes. Chamakh has finished plays that a striker should finish.
Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) I'M EXCITED. I'm almost convinced we'll see a 20m+ purchase before the window closes.

Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) Joel Campbell will be spending the season with Lorient as a result of work permit/visa issues or something. Good relationship we have going with that club.

Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) New names: Marek Hamsik (Naples), Marouane Fellaini (Everton)
Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) Hamsik is Slovakia's captain, a tall, 24-year old attacking midfielder with 47 goals in 168 games for Napoli. We know who the tall bloke with the poof hair is. He's given us plenty of problems over the last couple seasons and would be a solid addition to our team.
Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) We continue to circle Everton's cash-strapped and starving corpse. Arteta also linked. They will probably have to sell someone today for financial reasons. Who to who is anyone's guess.
Stoke may be trying to play hardball with us over Bendtner. Our club has reportedly given him the go-ahead to get up to the North and talk turkey. Genoa also reportedly have interest and at least one or two German clubs have inquired. Seems more likely Bendtner stays at this point.
Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) Lille claim they haven't received an offer for Eden Hazard and the Joe Cole rumours have nothing to do with it.
Re: Eleventh hour transfer thread (breaking news on new players) Miralem Sulejmani linked, Ajax deny it.
