Who cares how much we spend in Iraq...that military, some of it comes from our taxes...to put every murderer on death row, it would be a LOT more than $70 like I said...in the hundreds of millions payed for by tax-payers.
I disagree with the death penalty, unless the crime is unforgiveable. For instance, if a man murdered someone back in the '70s and he just recently got the death penalty, like Tookie Williams did, then I believe that isn't right. If someone murdered his/her spouse for life insurance or any other reason and was given the death penalty, that's fair enough.
I'm for crazy as hell punishments in general. Bring back the classics like beheading, drawing and quartering, hanging, burning at the stake and crusifiction(sp?). Some people (not all of them) deserve it. We should be like the mob and make examples out of people.
