DeSantis, already under federal investigation, is now requiring people under 65 to get a prescription from doctor to get a vaccine. Large number without insurance since, like a good Republican, DeSantis refused Medicare expansion. Uninsured people don't have a doctor to go to or means to pay.

Florida has one of the biggest racial discrepancy in vaccination in the country.
But keeping vaccine from poor people means more for wealthy campaign donors

Strange that he would say something so controversial about a bill that has no chance of passing the Senate (since it needs 60 votes to break a filibuster). I guess that speaks to the fact that he was so moved by his hatred of more citizens, including the minority voters, voting that he spoke from the heart rather than political considerations.

 

Mike Lee said voting rights act written by the devil straight out of hell. Christian First Pence wrote an op ed claiming bill would give franchise to undocumented immigrants (it doesn't), would outlaw all voter ID (it doesn't), and would count ballots cast after election day (it doesn't). But when your real god is Trump and you are trying to win back the "hang Mike Pence" crowd, what's a few lies?

 

Yeah, Biden and Harris are hooked on cocaine when they're not cannibalizing small children and selling them for sex slaves. I'm pretty much the same only I entice the small children with pizza. This works better than candy to get them in my car where I can whisk them off to the sex slave market. All Democrats are like that.
