I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Denver already offered $12 million a year.

Either way, it's still overpaying. He's going the way of Gerald Wallace in a few years. When that happens, the team that decided to pay him a shitload of money is going to look really stupid.

Harris will be waived. Only owed 150k if waived by 10/31/13.

Harris is from Oklahoma State - was undrafted, played a little for the Heat and in the NBDL. Signed in March for 10-day with New Orleans, then picked up for remainder of season.

Stats really don't tell the whole story here. He kept that offense together much of the time. And I really don't think the down numbers are his athleticism going, that's playing with no shooters and very little post presence. Here he'd have players to drive and kick to or drive and drop to.

Hickson was a Center that could really rebound.

The Blazers and Hickson both agreed that he's not a center, though

I'm trying to imagine how this team is going to play next season with Lopez in there. I guess he's mostly just a decoy on offense right?

He had the worst drb% in the league last year (center w/15+mpg)

Hes not exactly what I envisioned olshey going after, but he's a better defender than Hickson

He's a decoy on rebounding, too. I just ran some sorts and he's average at offensive rebounding, and below the bottom of the barrel at defensive rebounding.

(50th in DRB%. Starter. 30 teams. Filtered out all but centers.

Did I mention he stinks at defensive rebounding?)

    Edit: Brainiac said it too.
