Spurs were already in control of that series before his injury..and he still played...still it couldn't of been that bad....</div> Willis Reed had a broken leg and he played so it couldn't of been that bad....different degree of severities from the injury standpoint, but the same moral...the arm was bothering Marbury for the rest of the series after he hurt it.... that being said, I believe the Spurs were the better team and deserved to win...the Suns young guys got much needed playoff experience, and Amare learned how to play with the refs going against him...the Spurs simply were a better team than the Suns in the end and played like true champions...
No doubt the Suns were very tough....they have a great future.They did Give the Spurs the most trouble and Tim Duncan the most trouble too...Marbury is a true warrior so he was bound to play through the pain...I didn't know how serious it was but he still did a decent job out there.
