In a non related discussion, does anybody else think that if Sauer had ever stayed healthy, the Rangers would’ve won at least one cup possibly 2 or 3? I remember watching him play his first full year and I thought to myself this guy is better than Staal and Girardi defensively and he hits like a beast. Still cringe when I think of what he could have been.
No matter what happens I better see a fourth line next year of Cuylle, Edstrom and somebody. Vesey good guy but not the answer.
We know you are not confident in them. You proclaired them done 908698587585095233244768056 times, same as every year. We also know you won't be watching. You have made that all very clear. The Rangers should win this game for all the reasons listed. I am not fully confident in them doing so though. Flip a coin, 50/50, toss-up game I think. Could go either way and I wouldn't be surprised. I have no feel for this one at all.
Sauer was a surprise and played better than I thought based on his draft slot. I thought he was going to be mostly a minor leaguer but he was a hard worker who looked like a good 7-8 year guy in the making.
Because they do this every year but find ways to win 7 gm series more often than not. Plus the Devils are not playing that great other than G4 and G5.
