Devon Collier and Eric Moreland Suspended

Oregon State men's basketball coach Craig Robinson has announced the indefinite suspensions of Devon Collier and Eric Moreland from competition for violating team rules.

Collier, a senior forward, and Moreland, a junior forward, "will be allowed to participate with the team in summer workouts and strength/conditioning activities while attending summer school classes," Robinson said in a statement.

A Beavers spokesman said OSU officials will have no further comment at this time.

Collier was the Beavers' second-leading scorer last season, averaging 12.6 points to go along with 6.0 rebounds per game. Moreland averaged 9.4 points and 10.6 rebounds and considered declaring for the NBA draft before opting to return to Oregon State.

"At some point," Robinson said April 15 as Moreland announced he'd be back, "he probably will be a first-round pick."
