    I believe Dallas has clinched the 7th seed (can't get 6th or 8th). They're completely set and have nothing else to play for so yes, they may rest players.

    Well, I think home court very over-rated in the playoffs. But I might have sat the starters for a game that we'd be likely to lose anyway, like @GS.

    There are those that will dispute that. I for one agree with you. The fact is there are stats to back up that Home court does indeed help, but in some cases those stats can be shown to be exactly that. A Statistic. They are a bit skewed due to the fact that every Bracket works with the #1 team playing the #8 team with home court. Even if you gave the #8 team home court in many cases they would still not be able to beat the best team in their conference. When you get to the 4-5 matchup you have a much different animal.
