I started out lurking at fanhome, then migrated to bbb.net/bbf.com and posted sporadically/lurked until s2 started. I came over here about a year before most of the blazer fan migration based on cpawfan being here. I came over and saw a few posters like ktrulez and speeds that I knee from a fantasy league we are in, and have been here ever since.
I came here because Hap/Dan had a meltdown in the BBF OT forum and started deleting posts that were critical of Obama. He then had other moderators start banning posters. It was one of the greatest moderator meltdowns in internet history. This community has had problems with mods for as long as I can remember, but really, the current Blazer mods here are about the best we've had in my memory. I rarely bitch about them, so that says something, I guess.
Sly's a good mod. No real power trips out of him, ever. Unlike the first batch of mods we had here. barfo and then NateBishop. I mean, just horrible horrible moderators.
Do the mods do much here? That's not a dig at them.... That's a serious question, because after the Nazis that had BBF on lockdown, this place seems like it's run by a bunch of damn hippies. We can swear, we can post risque pictures, there are even some snarky remarks/digs made directly to posters, and it's okay (as long as it doesn't get too crazy). Hell, I was starting to feel like we couldn't even be sarcastic or make jokes about each other on BBF.

S2 pretty much has only one rule, no personal insults. I'm a mod because I want to keep the forum fun. I don't want to be a cop. The only thing I really look for is the insults.
And then YOU GO AND CHANGE MY THREAD TITLE. "mysoginist" is OK, but not "Whiny Little Babies"? I take back everything I posted. Harrumph!!
Being a mysoginist is not an insult. But I noticed that too - right after I asked if the mods actually do anything here.

came here from o-live because I hated the format of it, and how a simple argument between two would take the whole board down, as opposed to having separate threads, like here. Most days, you'd just sit there and watch mj and cup blabber back and forth on who was a troll.
