Schweitzer's discovery has been under scrutiny.

far more plausible than it being a dinosaur.

Yes because they found a fossil with it? Oh wow good one Denny! Lol

Or maybe the theory is still correct and the T. Rex was around 200,000 years ago.

Are you saying carbon dating is wrong? The entire premise of this dating is based on carbon 15 decomposes; while 14 stays the same.

What do you mean? That the cells aren't from the T. Rex or that she implanted the cells?

I would like to read the scrutiny.

Based on how many hours it would take to chip that image into the stone you've gotta think the artist would try hard to get it right. Maybe a wispy tail would be hard to do without it cracking as he dug around it?

Okay fuckers. This is not me trying to do a creation vs evolution debate here so don't get all defensive.

Like I said, I watched ancient aliens and saw these drawings and studies. I know, I know the ancient alien guys are crazy, but it sparked an interest.

If you want to talk shit about how bogus it is because some creationists want to prove earth is 10k years, I'm not in that boat. But I think that dinosaurs could have survived until man. Why is that so hard to believe?

I think they come to conclusions of the heart rather than conclusions of reason but those guys bring to light some interesting mysteries. I wouldn't dismiss all of them out of hand.

I thought science can change and nothing is impossible. A dinosaur could survive and be killed hundreds of thousands of years ago and decompose into nothing because they weren't fossilized. Just because man and Dino's aren't fossils together, doesn't mean they couldn't have been coexisting. Fossilization takes millions of years right? If man only existed 200,000 years ago; it's impossible to find fossils right?

I agree with you. They sometimes bring light to odd things we can discuss at a more debatable level

I'm not dismissing Schweitzer's discovery, I'm just saying it isn't an ace in the hole just yet. Her results can't be reproduced at this time.

Oh I get you. Like I said... I'm not saying the earth is young. I am debating that Dinos could have existed when man existed
