Maybe REREM, maybe. Murph at center, though? I guess we were thinking the same crazy response when they put Amare Stoudamire at center and The Matrix at power forward? Our defense is going to suuuuck.... Oh well, I guess the best defense is a good offense in terms of rockin' in the regular season (a la Mavs and Suns, coincidentally led by Nash)...

I like what you said about part 2 is the real Warrior team, but it's kind of funny how we're technically only one player away from being the team from last season, part 1 (with some growth from our young guys of course). but I think now that we have a bright future and less impending doom (give it two years when we're potentially financially f---ed) we can all be more positive about how well we'll do this year to finally make the freakin' playoffs.

This year, we'll know for sure what we have in guys like Monty, Murphy, Zarko, Pietrus and Dunleavy because they guys are getting to be close to veteran players. Monty's 2nd year will probably be a huge difference because he'll have more time to work with his players and he's got a point guard who believes in him and they both seem to get along. If we were to get an overbearing coach (possibly Mario Elie who screams a lot) who knows if that would get Baron all ticked off again like he was with Byron Scott. I think Monty was the right choice in principle and it's only a matter of the players buying into the system when open court play is dragging on its heels. I think the team can be very good if the players are giving it a chance and becoming used to it. It's a good system not unlike what Larry Brown or Jerry Sloan try to implement to make teams execute together off the ball when they don't have an uber low post presence or an uber drive and dish penetrator. I mean some old school ball is important, it can't be all one-on-one athletes 100% of the time, there needs to be a mix of the play strategy written for the NBA that made mediocre teams a whole lot better and teams with superstars on them nearly impossible to beat when everyone's getting up for it to win.
