Sure there is. You will want a job, citizens or verifiable green card holders only. As I recall, the DMV also accepts the DD214. That's what I handed them, I don't think I had to give them my passport.

This new brand of social justice warrior doesn't want to listen to the other side. If you don't agree with them, they try to ban you from coming to their city. They try to get you fired, harass you etc. They are trying to squash the other side, that's not allowing them free speech.

And you keep calling it racism. How is building a wall racist? Do you have fence in your back yard? How would you like it if your neighbors accused you of hating them because you had a fence, thus not allowing them to walk onto your property uninvited. These idiots are protesting the idea of doing that.

    Proportional response.

One kid hangs a banner, which might cause 15 minutes of disruption, so hundreds of kids walk out and "protest."

How disruptive was the walk-out? Was the response proportional to the original transgression? I know people are upset, and they want to do something, but one stupid kid hanging a banner isn't worth this much noise. Let the school punish the kid. Dismiss it as trolling and move along.

Funny the varying perceptions different people have about things and happenings.

Trump just won the election in the Oregon primary. I was happy to see him do so, many people said he would not have a chance here.
He Won! That might be my first thought about posting a banner about Biuld the Wall! Seems like support for Trump.

dviss is sure it is racist! My thought about that is, Wow! Of course he said I was racist the first time I posted about McMillan being a poor coach.

    Yep, racist comes first.

I believe in their right as well as their reason. What's the problem with people speaking out about racism? Some of you in here act like it's an affront to your existence...

Making things up as you go along? Minorities don't have any of those powers you speak of.

Speaking out against racism is not:

    A. Racist

    B. Stifling free speech.

1st nobody ran against him (you really want to count any of the other candidates on that side save Kasich?)

2nd by the time Oregon came around everyone dropped out.

Both of these sorry ass parties are in a shambles and really looking like they'll both split in two

Dude..... you are so frustrating to debate with. You put up the SJW anti-racism wall and you can't seem to comprehend what I'm even saying.

It's not the message. I didn't say there's anything wrong with speaking out against racism.

I don't agree with walking out of school because one stupid kid did something that could be construed as racist. Proportional response.

I'm frustrating to debate with because I don't agree with you?

You don't seem to understand and that's understandable.

The kids aren't protesting the student or the school.

Their protesting racism and Donald Trump. The whole build a wall bullshit is Trump's narrative. They are demonstrating because of the whole notion of building a wall not just the kid who put the sign up.

Your idea might make sense if it was only one student. Hundreds of students. They're not lemmings.

You're frustrating because you keep saying things that nobody is arguing against.

You keep saying it's their right. Nobody is arguing against the Bill of Rights.

You ask what the problem is with people speaking out against racism? Nobody said there's a problem with speaking out against racism, in general.

You're completely ignoring my point that this was an overreaction to something small. Sure, get together and talk about racism. Show unity. Show togetherness. Have a conversation and talk about the issues. That's all great. I wish they would just get together and talk about it. Staging a walk-out accomplishes nothing. It grabs headlines and that's it. It's disruptive.

No. I'm not ignoring that at all. I simply disagree that they are overreacting and that this is "something small". Donald Trump is literally talking about Nazi Germany type shit. Show me your papers, round em' up shit. If he were talking about rounding up blacks I'd find every opportunity to protest.

Edit: and as a matter of fact, I would protest right alongside those kids.

People comparing Trump to Hitler are seriously diminishing the shit that Hitler did. I don't like Trump, but come on..... comparing a guy who wants to round up people who are in the country illegally to deport them, with a guy who rounded up and exterminated citizens from all over Europe is extremely insulting to the suffering that Jews faced in WWII.

Whether you agree with Trump or not, these people are in the country illegally. They are breaking the law. You can't dispute that. There is a law, and they're breaking it. Trump's way of dealing with that is building a silly wall that won't accomplish anything, and deporting the people who are already in the country. Can we PLEASE stop comparing that to Hitler? I think he's got a loooong way to go before he can even remotely be compared to Hitler.
