This new brand of social justice warrior doesn't want to listen to the other side. If you don't agree with them, they try to ban you from coming to their city. They try to get you fired, harass you etc. They are trying to squash the other side, that's not allowing them free speech. And you keep calling it racism. How is building a wall racist? Do you have fence in your back yard? How would you like it if your neighbors accused you of hating them because you had a fence, thus not allowing them to walk onto your property uninvited. These idiots are protesting the idea of doing that.
Proportional response. One kid hangs a banner, which might cause 15 minutes of disruption, so hundreds of kids walk out and "protest." How disruptive was the walk-out? Was the response proportional to the original transgression? I know people are upset, and they want to do something, but one stupid kid hanging a banner isn't worth this much noise. Let the school punish the kid. Dismiss it as trolling and move along.
Funny the varying perceptions different people have about things and happenings. Trump just won the election in the Oregon primary. I was happy to see him do so, many people said he would not have a chance here. He Won! That might be my first thought about posting a banner about Biuld the Wall! I don't like Trump, but come on..... comparing a guy who wants to round up people who are in the country illegally to deport them, with a guy who rounded up and exterminated citizens from all over Europe is extremely insulting to the suffering that Jews faced in WWII.
