Do Dame and Ant make a good backcourt?

    At 30, he's better. At 22 he was not better than Simons was last year.

    So, given that we're keeping Dame with the plan to win with him, I guess we should've kept CJ.

    A) How many games have we seen a healthy Dame and Simons share the court for an extended period? We aren't a contender next season under the best of circumstances, so it isn't unreasonable to give them until the next trade deadline to see if it works.

    B) There are some intriguing wing players available in the draft. If the BPA is a guard, we have a chance to see how they mix with Dame and/or Simons. Since they will be on a rookie deal, there is no valid financial reason to not temporarily keep all three. We can afford to take a little time to decide who stays and who gets traded.

    Well maybe trading Simons for Grant is better than starting Dame and CJ 2.0 (Simons) in the back court.
