Re: Do expections ruin player's careers? I work hard in practices, most players do. But it is games that players muster every bit of strength, and play the hardest they can, not in practices. In practices they learn knew skills and all. They work hard, but it should never and usually isn't as intense as an NBA game.
Re: Do expections ruin player's careers? If a players can't deal with the pressure of all these expectations then he wouldn't be that great anyway. And if a player is lazy that's their own fault. The great players don't get their careers ruined because of high expectations.
