Do Players really deserve the choice of where they want to go?

    you're absolutely right big mo and it's a crying shame.teams get screwed over due to leaks and can't get decent value for their players and help their franchise through trades with upset stars most of the time.

    My take on it is that unless a player has done a lot for a franchise, like Garnett has in Minnesota, or has a clause in his contract, like Kobe, he shouldn't have any say at all in where he's traded. However, if he has an expiring contract then obviously he's going to have a say because no team wants to give up something for a one year rental. I have very little respect for guys like Vince and Mourning though. Shut up and play! You're making 7 figures a year; nobody cares if you dislike Canada.
