    He's the President.

He's picking people who can get stuff done.

He will be the one deciding what it is that they do, so the rest is moot.

I'm not bitter at all. In fact, I'm getting a good chuckle out of it. I'm laughing at people who really thought he was going to be different.

You may not be bitter, but you sure sound bitter.

If you can actually hear me, it's time to replace the tinfoil hat.

what fucking excuses? There was a thread about this at least two months ago. OBVIOUSLY the president is going to choose people who have been high-ranking officials in other administrations. His guys will be their deputies. In about 18 months, the initial appointees will transition out, once Obama's guys have enough experience to lead things themselves. That's how you get newly-trained officials. The next time a democrat wins an election, the same pattern will repeat.

And again, if you can hear me, you have bigger issues than my tone.

Go back and look at other administrations; it's simply not true. There are, of course, some exceptions, but in this case the exceptions appear to be the rule. However, not that you've drunk the Kool-Aid, now you're going to defend every move.

    Realize you've been hoodwinked.

I think you know I'm talking about the tone of your writing, not the tone of your voice.

What administration was Richardson in before Clinton, or any of Clinton's cabinet for that matter? Or any of Reagan's cabinet?

Then you don't "hear" me and I don't "sound" some specific way. BTW, it's interesting how you believe you can discern tone from a post. I'm not bitter at all, and unfortunately for you, you're just going to have to live with that fact.

Clinton's cabinet is a bad example; it is universally recognized that Clinton's administration was a horrible mess for the first 18 months until they figured out what they were doing. I'd hope that no one would want to emulate that!

Right. Forgive me for using words in ways that every native English speaker understands perfectly. I'm sure it was confusing for you to have me talk about how your posts "sound". I didn't use the word "hear", though, so that one is a strawman.

As for you being bitter (or not), I have no way of knowing, and I didn't make any assertions about that one way or the other.

It's a full-blown case of butthurt. When you get some new tinfoil, grab some Preparation H as well. Preparations A through G don't seem to work.
