All I needed to know was that the girl was a whore, so I find it hard to believe she wouldn't willingly have sex with a multi-million dollar superstar athlete.

He admitted that he could see how she would think the act was not consentual. Ergo, he admitted to raping her.

Actually no. He said because she was taking him to trial she obviously thought she was raped....All that comment is saying is the obvious. To argue against that would be saying she is making this all up and a total liar. He was trying to say the PC thing in that situation.

I heard she consented to the act but when Kobe pretended her face was on fire and tried to put it out with his hose... she got pissed.

I chose option 3, but I did read the transcript of the trial a few years back and I was struck with the thought that I don't think Kobe thinks he raped that girl ... on the other hand I think there possibly came a point in their "relationship" where she said "I don't want to go any farther" and he went ahead and went past that point.

I'm still unsure of what exactly happened, and in the absence of definitive proof, I'd have to go with the legalese version of guilty or innocent and say there isn't sufficient proof beyond reasonable doubt.

However, I do think he eats babies, without a shadow of a doubt.

The first answer is often the best, as in this case.

edit..I mean this is exactly how I feel if I didn't make that clear

I do. And it makes it hard for me to like him or root for him in any way. I loved watching the Celtics crush his dreams.

I think she is a whore and a little bitch.

I think she played him and got him all hot and bothered and then suddenly said no. He thought she couldn't possibly mean it so he kept doing whatever it was he was doing.

Technically, she said no. Technically he kept going.

Technically that makes him a rapist. He was a dumbass for ever getting involved in the situation and an even bigger dumbass for not getting out his checkbook and making the thing go away.

Because these are my POR buddies. No other team hates Kobe more. I wanted to see who really felt like that.

As an investigator, when I read the evidence against him and some of the statements he was clearly guilty. No question he was going to jail. So, he bought his way out for $12,000,000. He should have been banned from the NBA.

So conflicted. Anyone who clearly has "mook" in his name is a genius. But any Laker fan is clearly suspect.

Narcissism balances out ad hominem, so I'm going to your actual point, which is a damned good one. And I'm agreeing with you wholeheartedly.

Why the hell are we talking about this anyway? DaRizzle needs to add on an a fourth answer to his poll:

What the fuck does Kobe Bryant's possible sexual transgressions five years ago have to do with the fucking price of tea in china?

    Criticism fail.

Read his handle. It ain't that hard to pull the letter "m" "o" "o" "k" out of his handle.

Maybe it's like one of those posters at the mall. Stand 20 feet back from your monitor, glance at it sideways while eating a Cinnabon:

    Moo2K4

    Do you see it now?
Anyway, this whole line of conversation has gone into the "interesting fail" bucket for me.
