cap space is useless if we have to settle for someone. Miller isn't my prime target...maybe 3-4 years ago but right now he's just a vet PG (with crap playoff exp and losing records abound though)
If he'll sign for 1-3 years, I'll be excited for it. He's still an effective player than can rack up the assists and can shoot the free throw at a high percentage. His scoring ability is somewhat lacking in term of his outside shooting, but having a guy that can run the offense and get Greg and LaMarcus the ball will be well worth it. If anything, he'll be a great stop gap until either Bayless takes over or we fill the void some other way. I'll go with yes for now. Even better if we can trade someone for him and still keep some cap room for later.
Miller is an improvement. If Aldridge/Oden improve next year, we can possibly contend with Miller, but I'd be MUCH happier with Sessions. iWatas
Yep, my thoughts exactly. It's ok as a stopgap, but Sessions would be better. If he is a stop gap we need to trick Memphis out of an unprotected top pick for next year. Brandon Wall anyone?
I will call the NO owner right up and tell him the fans don't like the TO and Blake for CP3 deal. KP will be devastated, but he'll feel better knowing he didn't step on Btown_Hustla's toes.
Oh sorry I meant, I think it is a real nice move for you guys if you pull it off. You have the cap space obviously so it just comes down to what your FO wants to do. Maybe explore other trades instead, etc. , you still have some options to work out and a loaded owner.
