<div class="quote_poster">Quoting THE DREAM:</div><div class="quote_post">that's because Magic has 5 rings, and made big plays to get those rings....Dirk is ringless.....bad comparison...no....really bad comparison...</div> Its not a comparison. Its a point. No player has been completely perfect in the playoffs. But nobody judges them on their one or two bad efforts when there's so many other performances that show the exact opposite. Dirk's clutch performances still vastly outweigh his bad ones.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You've made bad comparisons and unfounded statements in this thread...</div> seriously yes Magic played bad in a couple of series, but for the MOST part the guy brought it when he had to (as evidence in his 5 rings)....the same goes for MJ...yes he turned the ball over against the Magic, but no one ever questioned these guys "toughness"....seriously the dallas paper, fans (some dallas fans I know personally), radio hosts, fucking Nancy Lieberman are even questioning this guys "leadership" ability....Kobe and D Wade are out in the 1st round, but none of us will ever start a thread on those guys being "mentally soft" in big game situations, even if they miss a couple of shots in big playoff games.

Maybe you can get me back for Game 6... but i seriously got to go, my girl is like "what are you doing?" haha

Lol man come on.
The Dream how's that crow taste? LOL Even you have to admit for at least one game, Dirk came up clutch. He scored 8 straight points, blocked a shot, created an offensive rebound opportunity by fighting Matt Barnes for a rebound, and made his free throws down the stretch to ice the game.
Dirk has hit big shots in numerous clutch situations. We tend to remember things we want to remember, and forget what we want to forget.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Like when you said the Heat would come back from 3-0 or how they would at least win Game five? seriously for an MVP candidate and the leader of his team, yes he was "stinking it up".....you should never consistently play "pretty good" in a playoff series if you're the supposed MVP.....for God sakes the man was averaging 20 points a game in the series (at around 40% shooting) and falling away from guys who were shorter than him before the last 2 minutes of last nights game.......like I said I'll agree to disagree on Dirks softness with you guys because there are PLENTY of fans, media, and basketball experts who feel the same way.....
