Clinton, Obama silent on Ed Buck donations after Dem megadonor's arrest

By Gregg Re | Fox News
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama still aren't saying what they will do with money they received from Democratic megadonor Ed Buck, even after he was charged Tuesday with running a drug house where two men died of overdoses -- and months after other top Democrats have tossed aside Buck's contributions.

Buck, 65, has donated more than $500,000 to a range of Democratic groups and politicians, including tens of thousands of dollars to California candidates such as Gov. Gavin Newsom. Buck is also well known in LGBTQ political circles.

He came under investigation in January after 55-year-old Timothy Dean was found dead of an accidental methamphetamine overdose in his apartment. It was the second such death in two years, following the July 2017 death of Gemmel Moore, 26.

The January episode prompted many Democrats to cut ties with Buck. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) told Fox News at the time it was "deeply disturbed" by Buck's alleged conduct, and quickly donated his thousands of dollars of contributions to the NALEO Education Fund.

Other politicians also distanced themselves from Buck, and vowed to get rid of his campaign contributions.

“I am deeply disturbed by the latest revelations of a second death by overdose at the home of Ed Buck,” California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu said in January, announcing plans to donate more than $18,000 in contributions to civil rights charities.

“I received a campaign contribution from Ed Buck and have donated the amount I received to a local charity, the Kenneth Young Center, to combat drug addiction,” Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois also said earlier this year.

But former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama remained quiet on the subject in January -- and their spokespeople on Wednesday didn't respond to Fox News' request for comment on what they would do with their donations from Buck.

Buck donated at least $1,500 to Obama and $2,950 to Clinton, according to federal records. Obama has recently waded into the 2020 presidential race, and met this week with youth climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Even as Clinton and Obama stayed silent, The Los Angeles County Democratic Party praised Buck's arrest on Wednesday and said progressive activists deserved credit.

"For our community, a predator with a Jekyll and Hyde personality is now off the streets," the LACDP said. "And it is due to the ongoing support and pressure from many activists and community groups including Black Lives Matter, Jasmyne Cannick and more."

The LACDP told Fox News that they had not received money from Buck, and urged other Democrats to "be conscientious" on the matter.

"The LA Dems have not received money from Ed Buck in my tenure," LACPD Chair Mark J. González said in an email. "Outside our County party, I would strongly encourage Democrats to be conscientious of the contributions they receive."

Meanwhile, a black member of Congress on Wednesday called it "incomprehensible" that the wealthy gay activist has skirted punishment for so long. Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., on Wednesday specifically called Buck a predator and said authorities let him roam free even after two people died at his house.

Prosecutors say Buck used his position of power to manipulate male victims into participating in sexual fetishes that involved injecting them with meth.

In a motion Wednesday, prosecutors said Buck should be held on $4 million bail because he is a "violent, dangerous sexual predator" who offered drugs, money and shelter to mainly addicted and homeless men in exchange for participating in sexual fetishes, including a fetish that involved administering dangerous doses of drugs.

Buck "has no regard for human life," the motion said.

Messages to Buck's attorney, Seymour Amster, were not returned. Buck's attorney had said Dean came to Buck's home under the influence and didn't ingest any drugs while there.

In their bail motion, however, prosecutors specifically blamed Buck's actions for the two deaths and they alleged he personally gave a dangerous dose of methamphetamine to a man who survived an overdose earlier this month.

On Sept. 11, the man returned and Buck injected him with two more dangerous doses, refused to help him and "thwarted" his efforts to get help until the man fled the apartment and called 911 from a gas station, prosecutors alleged.

"His deadly behavior has not stopped," prosecutors contended.

Buck's "predatory acts and willful disregard for human life must be stopped before another life is lost," their motion read.

Fox News' Alex Pappas and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Maybe those funds were spent long ago and long before anyone knew anything about Buck's drug problems.

Clinton WhistleBlower: FEDS Investigating Adam Schiff’s Disturbing Behavior at Ed Buck’s Meth & Sex House

Embattled Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff is now the target of a federal investigation focused on the Congressman’s more-than-frequent trips to Ed Buck’s ‘drug house,’ according to a Clinton Whistleblower and insider.

Buck is a high-profile, millionaire Democratic benefactor who has contributed and bundled large amounts of cash to Democrats including Schiff, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris and the list goes on and on. Buck was arrested last month after a nearly-dead man escaped from Buck’s home after Buck allegedly plied him with meth.

Larry Nichols is the consumate DC insider and operator. In fact, Bill Clinton in his biography described Nichols as a dangerous man. Clinton would know because Nichols spearheaded many of Clinton’s political black-bag Ops in Arkansas and Washington D.C for the Clinton cartel and beyond before he turned whistleblower.

Nichols revealed on his weekly news show on CrowdSource the Truth that federal agents have traced Congressman Schiff at Buck’s drug mansion over a dozen times. And now they want to know what Schiff was doing there.

“(Attorney General William) Barr is looking into why Adam Schiff was at Buck’s place 16 times,” said insider Larry Nichols. “The reason Barr is obligated to look into Adam Schiff, and the fact that he was there 16 times, is because as a member of Congress if he saw at his time at Buck’s any illegal activity, he is obligated by law to report it.

“And if he didn’t report it, then he is guilty of a crime.”

Two men previously died at Buck’s mansion from drug overdoses but Buck was never charged by Los Angeles Police. Finally, Buck was charged in Sept. with running a drug house and doping up victims and then allegedly acting out his twisted sexual fantasies on the incapacitated victims, according to prosecutors.

Buck targeted homeless men, according to prosecutors.

Nichols said Schiff, like Buck, is under investigation.

Who will be the first to rat the other one out?

Court Grants Landlord’s Petition to Evict Ed Buck from His Laurel Avenue Apartment
    Tuesday - December 31, 2019 by Staff | 2 Comments
    [IMG]
Ed Buck’s apartment, unit No. 17, is at the top right corner of the building at 1234 N. Laurel Ave.
    Ed Buck is out.

An L.A. County District Court judge has granted a petition by the lawyer for David Shane Enterprises that will let it proceed with the eviction of Buck from his apartment at 1234 N. Laurel Ave.

Shane Enterprises filed a lawsuit 0n Oct. 3 seeking to evict Buck, citing a variety of issues including nuisance behavior, drug-related activity in Buck’s apartment, and the drug-related deaths there of two gay African-American men. Those deaths, and allegations that Buck paid other young African-American sex workers to do drugs with him at his apartment, were reported by news organizations around the world that called out his status as an affluent gay white man who was a frequent donor to Democratic Party candidates.

Buck currently is housed in the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles awaiting trial in August 2020 on federal charges of providing drugs resulting in death and three counts of distributing methamphetamine. The deaths are those of Gemmel Moore, 26, a young black sex-worker, on July 27, 2017, and Timothy Dean, 50, also black, who had worked at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills and was found dead in Buck’s apartment on Jan. 7 of this year.

Those deaths sparked a number of protests outside the Laurel Avenue apartment building that attracted Los Angeles television crews and reporters from publications such as the Los Angeles Times the U.K.’s Daily Mail. Buck was often inside his apartment, unit No. 17, during the demonstrations and covered his second-floor windows with bedsheets while they took place.

Buck has been in the one-bedroom, rent-stabilized apartment since April 1, 1993. It is not clear what rent he was paying. While Buck has been described as wealthy, his apartment apparently was quite modest. Photos taken there by other sex workers show a nearly empty living room with a couch and a mattress on the floor.

Buck fought the eviction and was represented by Seymour Amster, the lawyer known for having represented Lonnie David Franklin Jr., better known by the nickname Dennis P. Block & Associates. Dennis Block said the next steps are getting rid of Buck’s possessions, which will be handed over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The eviction is likely to please Buck’s neighbors, who petitioned Shane Enterprises after the Jan. 7 death of Timothy Dean. Christopher Shane responded with a letter citing the difficulty of evicting a tenant in California. “Under the law, a suspect/defendant is ‘presumed innocent until proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt.’ Attempts to evict a suspect who is presumed innocent will likely be met with a vigorous defense and retaliatory action,” he wrote. “If an action to evict is initiated, we want reasonable assurances that we will prevail.”

Democratic Donor Ed Buck Hit With Second Wrongful Death Suit
The suit says Buck preyed on Black gay men and watched them “cling to life.”
    Published 2 weeks ago
    Written by Zayda Rivera
    • On the anniversary of his death, Timothy Dean’s family filed a civil lawsuit against Ed Buck, the white Democratic donor, who allegedly caused his overdose.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the suit, filed by Joyce Jackson and Joanne Campbell, alleges that Buck “had a predatory and injurious system of soliciting black gay men and watching them cling to life while battling symptoms of methamphetamine toxicity after he intravenously administered large doses of the drug to them.”

Dean, 55, was found dead of a drug overdose inside Buck’s West Hollywood home on Jan. 7, 2019.

He was the second Black man in less than two years that died of an overdose at Buck’s home, after Gemmel Moore, who was found dead in the 65-year-old man’s home in July 2017.

The Times reports the lawsuit accuses Buck of sexual battery, assault, hate violence, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress as well as other crimes.

Moore’s family filed a separate civil lawsuit last year, also naming L.A. County and District Attorney Jackie Lacey, which is still ongoing.

According to prosecutors, Buck preyed on vulnerable gay Black men who were homeless, addicted to drugs or working as escorts.

The longtime donor to the Democratic Party allegedly lured them to his Laurel Avenue apartment, where he manipulated them into doing drugs for his sexual gratification, the Times reports.

“The issue of sexual violence has become very salient thanks to the #MeToo movement, but one of the failures of the movement is that really only wealthy, white women are trusted when they come forward with allegations,” said Attorney Hussain Turk, who is representing the families of Dean and Moore, the Times reports. “Had the victims in this case been white or wealthy, then we firmly believe that the claims would have been taken much more seriously.”

Buck’s attorney, Seymour Amster, told the Times that he was not aware that a civil lawsuit had been filed and he did not have an immediate comment.

Turk told the Times, “The goal is holding not only Ed Buck to account, but also the county and the leaders who are supposed to be protecting everyone in Los Angeles.”

BET has reached out to Turk’s office for comment.

    The answer is Yes.

Under-charged and under-sentenced for 2 murders. He'll be in prison for less than 10 years, likely get a pardon from BidenHarris unless they "Epstein" him first.

Seems like a fair deal when you see the likes of traitors and con artists like Trump, Brannon, Stone et al get off scott free. At least Ed Buck (whoever the fuck he is) has to serve some time for his crimes. Apparently that’s the price Democrats pay for living under a minority controlled “democracy”…………the Republicans? Not so much……
