Because my school solved that problem by implementing a team shoe. I think the coaches wanted to be like Coach Carter with the suits.</div> Our clothing thing has been in affect for 50+ years, and the shoe thing is only for games, and we do have team shoes, but they are usually crappy and not required.
My schools also really strict on the whole cell phone thing. Like one time my one class was on a field trip and my friend called her boyfriend back at school at like 2:45 (we get out at 2:25) and he answered it and got it taken away while she was still on the phone. The first offense, you lose it until 3:00 of that day. Second offense, you lose it and your parents have to come get it. Third offense, you lose it for the semester which I think is illegal because you pay for it and its your property. So technically, I think it's stealing.

Either way, the person would've known by the 3rd time not to turn it on, lol.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Every time I would get arrested" wtf?? Suge Knight is that you?</div> Bro', I'm talking about high school. I haven't been arrested since I turned 18.
Arrested or not caught? My school doesn't have many rules, just go by common sense, i.e. no stealing, bullying, littering and that kind of stuff. They are, however, promoting what they say is the "spirit" of the school, which means being nice to teachers and student, by holding the door for someone and stuff like that. Nothing to complain about really.
Another stupid rule at my School here in Brisbane was that students had to pick up rubbish when the teacher came around and asked, now I never ate lunch, so I had no rubbish to dispose of, so I always refused to pick up other peoples dirty rubbish (if they want to pay me to do it, then fine, but I went to school to "learn", not pick up rubbish), which led to a trip to the principals office where I just went off at her, but I tell you what, from that day on, every time the teacher came past telling us to pick up rubbish, she never asked me after that day I stood up to her.
i dont think my school has rules, i once smoked a joint in class under the desk with two buddies and our teacher pretented that we werent there, and teachers were caught toking a bong and nothin happened to them, alot of kids smoke cigerettes around school and teachers dont say anything its basically allowed, oh i go to an Art school, we have maths and science and all that but mostly kids are just doing art subjects. but there is a rule on lateness that if you are over 5 minutes late you are counted absent and if you have 5 absentses in one class you fail so you gotta turn up.

My high school was crazy, you could get away with anything. When I was in high school, this kid in my class got a fire extinguisher and sprayed it all over the substitute teacher. That's just a minor example of what my high school was like. Anyone that got suspended from other schools came to my school.

No cellphones If your cellphone goes off, you gotta give it to the teacher and she will give it to the district school police and you gotta get it fro them for $20 bucks.
I do sometimes, but it is hard to change it to silent, then back, then silent, then back throughout the day, I sometimes forget.
i dont know if this corresponds with rules but when i was in high school...for like basketball and football class they basically made us buy a lock for our locker to store our crap when we changed but yet if anything was stolen out of it.. it was are responability..which i thought made no sense at all.i had my dre 2001 cd jacked like the week after it came out..luckly i knew who to took it and got it with and extra andrew johnson
