Ever lost a dog? We're down in Florida and our dog, Roxie, was lost for a couple hours today. She had such a great morning playing with another SheepaDoodle, London, this morning (see pics). However, we accidentally left our gate open this afternoon, and she found cause to escape. Great neighbors here, though. After a bunch of driving around and letting them know the situation, someone found her and returned her to us. Talk about an unsettling situation, though!
London is freakin’ gorgeous!!! It’s got me wanting a second doodle........and yes, lost dogs are terrifying moments.
To get one that looks like that I’d have to pay serious bucks.....and be on a waitlist for awhile. The cost alone keeps me from doing something stupid, at least for now.
I once had a conversation with Sly and it went like this: Quit trying to dry hump my leg; Get that shit eating grin off your face when you hear there's a new bitch in heat in the neighborhood; Don't piss in your water dish; Don't shit in your bed. Here's what he heard: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I had a German Shepard when I was a little boy. He went everywhere I went, fishing, swimming and even went to my school with me where he shared half the playground with a giant Great Dane. My dog weighed about the same as the Great Dane which was the companion of the son of our chief of police. My dog weighed 150 lbs. The Great Dane ruled over half of Oswego and my dog ruled over the other half. I loved that dog like a twin might love his twin. Tonto meant everything to me.
Me too. My wife just won't go for a dog although we've got the fenced in backyard with plenty of squirrels and birds to chase.
