Normally in fraud conviction, the convicted criminals are ordered to make restitution on top of any jail time. Trump pardons of several fraudsters also erased the financial penalties. So the people they defrauded get screwed. Just like Trump will never pay his own civil fraud or defamation fines.

Missouri sent repeated requests for emergency declaration. No reply. Arkansas, whose governor is former Trump spokesliar Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was denied FEMA aid, then accepted. Mississippi has received no aid. Normally requests for emergency declaration handled within hours. Considered so urgent, if a request arrives at night, sides wake up president to sign. Trump said he wants to abolish FEMA.

He was ordered to pay back $4.5 million, less than half. Pardon means he can keep all ill gotten gains. The workers get nothing. They are poor low wage workers, probably a lot are immigrants.
