How anyone could think that the NBA wants Portland of all teams to win a playoff series against a Houston team led by Dwight Howard is beyond me.
If it does, we simply have to not allow it to get to us. I actually think the Rockets are doing themselves a disservice letting them get that last call so deep in their heads. This may be the game where Stotts gets himself chucked to make a point. I don't think I've ever seen him do it before as a Blazer coach, and this crew isn't a crew of strong personalities, so going Popovich just may work.
