I am referring to your routine of disproportionately condemning the left for our countries problems, while leaving the right mostly blameless. You claim the left has systemically corroded our society through film, music, and education. Where you see indoctrination, I see open mindedness. I went to a university. I wasn't taught to hate conservatives or people with differing views and opinions. I was taught to think for myself. I too have both left and right views. I am a traditionalist. I also believe that change is neccessary. There has to be balance. Its not one way or the other. I want hear more about what these dangerous ideals of the left are that you speak of. And, I will counter with the dangerous ideals I see from the right. I have seen a few of your claims. Why do you think college shouldn't be free? Why shouldn't there be affordable health care? What are your left leaning views exactly?

    >>> Because the teacher expect to be paid! Ha! I would have expected you knew this.

    >>> I did! Lost it with the stroke of a pen. I bet you voted for the dude that used the pen.
But the bottom line is, Doctors want to be paid. And they must hire more and more staff to handle all the minutia laid on them. You known, Report child abuse, report mentally deficient so they can't buy what ever, report suspected domestic abuse, cut rate all government covered healthcare billing. And above all, make sure the poor immigrant gets the healthcare need when they come without a shred of coverage from anywhere.

You should learn the difference between doctors, nurses, social workers and hospital administrators and clerks.....nurses do the heavy lifting and are paid like school teachers...I paid a heart specialist a small fortune in copay alone with good insurance to rub gell on my chest and hold a scanner over my heart taking a picture with a computer program....the heart specialist was also obese....I'd say 450 lbs if I were to guess....never stood up the whole procedure....x ray techs have pretty easy jobs for the money as well...nurses work their asses off

Not sure what I wrote that triggered this tangent. But we accept that something did. How is it relevant to what I wrote?

You were saying doctors all had to do these things that actually nurses and staff handle....doctor is the last person you see and usually for a very short time.

Seems like he's pretty well accomplished that goal. In fact, he's replaced our ally friends with our enemies.

Ha! That is exactly what I was looking for you to say.

When I was a boy the doctor ran his office, very few had anyone else working there.
By the time my children were born, the first just a very little younger that you, insurance was now becoming more wide spread and billing was a problem. Doctors had to hire clerks.
To help defray the cost, nurses were also hire so more patients per day could be seen.
Step by step the government burden is increase and more staff is needed. Medicare and Medicaid were the giant steps.
The government has caused the problem, never helped anyone.

One of the very first jobs I did in my first year working for IBM was to set up a billing system for a Doctor in Oregon City. He used it to do the billing. Five years later he needed help
teaching his wife to help him because it was swamping him. I liked the old gent so I agreed to come a few times to help her learn the job. Shit! No way was she going to get it.
    He retired not long after.

The doctor who delivered me and my siblings was my doctor all my life until I left for the navy...he made housecalls...he also accepted farm goods like homemade ice cream or meat from our livestock in barter....those days are gone...so are the manual crank phones with the mouthpiece that hung on the wall back then

Those days are gone... you left out the affordable healthcare, replaced by government imposed bureaucracy.

True. I know a few that make quite a bit more though.
