Not at all the same thing. SCOTUS decided if congress has the power to force people to buy insurance or face a fine was in the congressional power to tax. And a few other similar challenges like sticking to the strict written text of the law. Abortion and gay marriage are civil rights. The abortion position isn't consistent with his gay marriage position.
I don't think it is consistent either but you can make a case that human life is different than marriage. I just don't think he made that case.

We wouldn't be banning a religion, we'd be banning a group of people that are dangerous to our society. Letting them come in and pollute our country is crazy.
