I mean how do you think I felt when I joined my brother (not the bad one) at church and they went on and on about how they must all vote yes on Prop 8, the measure in CA in 2008 that banned gays from marrying. When have I gathered a huge group of people together and encouraged them all to prevent Christians from marrying? Never. It's not the same.
Before you go flip the fuck out, Trump has already stated very clearly that he has no intention to go against gay marriage. He stated it was already law by the Supreme Court. As for the SCOTUS picks. They will be pro-life, constitutionalists. That doesn't guarantee that all that has been done will be undone. He made it very clear that he doesn't want the picks to advocate, but only interpret the existing laws fairly and according to the constitution.
