But since Trump was elected businesses have nearly doubled in number in our small town, Real Estate has increased in value by around 30% in general, 2 long dormant subdivisions are struggling to build homes fast enough to meet demand, St Charles has built our second healthcare center, and Hwy 97 is undergoing a major upgrade. More economic activity than we've had here since the 80's.

By the way, there was a con man by the name of Charles Simmons back in 1961 that started Christmas Valley as part of a con game. How do I know? My mother was one of his marks. Tried to make a mark out of young Lanny but I quit going to the meetings. When I quit his henchman got up in front of the group and bad mouthed me. I wound up being the only one with any sense and the courage of my conviction to withstand their attempts to bring me back into the fold.
