Official: Dossena Signs For Liverpool <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>It was revealed last month that the Premiership giants were to sign Dossena for £7m, however until now there had been no official confirmation. Dossena, who becomes Liverpool’s first-ever Italian signing, had an excellent season for Udinese last term, playing 34 games, scoring two goals, and helping the club qualify for the UEFA Cup. The 26-year-old, who has won one cap for Italy, was also attracting the interest of Juventus, but the lure of Champions League football was too much for the full back to refuse. In England, they are on the same level as Manchester United." Don't know much about this guy, time to check him out on Football Manager, although I already have Marcelo on my Liverpool squad in left-back. Ah, gotta love the 5.5 million pounds release clause.
