I do want a good draft pick, but I can't help myself from rooting for the team to do well each game. So I can't pick #5, and I honestly do like seeing Dame go HAM even when the games don't "count", so I can't pick #2. So I went with 1, 7, and 8.

Understandable logic, I don't agree, but I understand where you're coming from.

Want Sharpe to get a lot more minutes, want to tank so we likely get a 6 or 7 position before lottery, can't stand watching the games as to me it's just such shitty basketball, want Chauncy gone after season ends.

Want us to act like we actually give a damn, give us fans something to cheer about and not wanting to stick our heads in a deep fryer...while its on.

I know one thing is a useless thread was something we didn't need.

I honestly think that the Warriors would be and have been a better team with Lillard in place of Steph. I’m not saying that Dame is better than Steph even though I think so. The fact is Steph constantly has a better supporting staff around him and still struggles.

The Lakers freaking suck !! They got completely schooled by that bad Rockets team tonight. Now we'll have to hear all about "Blazers still have a chance to make the playoffs!"

The Blazers have a long home stand, and will probably knock a few outta the park. Heck, what if Portland makes the playoffs, and in doing so loses the opportunity to draft a great rookie? Doesn't Chicago own our pick if we make the playoffs ??

As a long time Blazer fan, I'm confused but excited as Portland is approaching crossroads.

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”

The best path to winning is through losing.

5,7,8.

I might be open to switching “8” for “1”.

Although I have no faith in Cronin making a solid hire.

I really don’t see this team as a contender for a long, long time though.

just want this year to be done.

On the latest episode of the #ThisLeague UNCUT podcast with NBA insiders Marc Stein and Chris Haynes, the latter states that the Blazers could shut down Lillard in if things don’t start changing in that timeframe.

“Dame probably has five or six more games left before Portland probably shuts him down for the season,” Haynes said. “There’s no use playing the duration of these games. So look out for that. If these next five, six games, they keep struggling, I will suspect...”

These other teams losing giving us slight hope is annoying. I'm ready gor 30+ minutes of Sharpe

people might make it seem like the concept is crazy. But it’s true. Scraping unto the playoffs and minimizing the asset compilation is more detrimental than being mediocre and hardly keeping your head above water (aka the play-in)

The NBA had tried to take measures to change this. But it really is a win or suck ass league. The NFL not so much. It’s so year to year

does not making the playoffs hit you in the wallet bro or do you have a plan B elsewhere in the league if that happens?
Yessir. Lose out on a couple weeks of pay. Will start doing Timbers soon, but that’s a couple games a month…. Not too good.
Ironically I just got called by the Clippers this morning. Going to work for them through the first round like I did a couple years ago. Good people. Just gotta try to fill up my May, June and July now until Seahawks preseason starts up in August.

Well I know it won’t move if we DON’T change owners. Ask Seattle how that change over went went for them.
Pretty crazy how that all worked out? They had just drafted Durant. The summer between Seattle and OKC they draft Westbrook. The next year they draft Harden.
After drafting Harden they win 50 games. The following season they win 55 games.
Seattle would have been absolutely rocking the Sonics.
I wonder if Harden would have or even could have stayed if not in Oklahoma?

I would like to see them cut back Lillard and Grant's minutes way back or sit them if possible. I would like to see them focus on Nurk's conditioning only. Find him a personal trainer who will stay with him through the summer also. Would like to see Reddish and Knox get enough playing time so we know what they are. Also, they are young, they should be working out with develpmental coaches every off day. Same for Sharpe, except more minutes and for different reasons.
Would like coaches to work on fundamentals, even with the players who aren't playing much. Would like to see team practices to work on an offense. Not sure about defense because I am hoping for a new defensive coordinator and no sense getting them mixed up. That's something the coaches and GM can do in the rest of the season; try to find and target a really good defensive coordinator.
I forgot about Simons. I guess let him run the team and hopefully show some other team what he can do.
