Griffin a Blazer killer? HA. This year he's
    8-24FG + 7-20.. So that's 15 makes on 44 attempts in two games.. Hardly a Blazer killer.........

Taking last game out of it..? okay
Does everyone forget that in game 1 vs the Clippers this year Reddick dropped his Career high and they still only one by 4?
I understand this is a "what have you done for me recently kind of league" But people(not just you) really should look up the stats before they say x player is useless vs a team.. This year.
Lillards line in game 1 vs CP3. (Blazers lost 106-102)
    25 points
    9-14 FG + 4-8 from deep.
    3-4 FT
    8 assists, 5 turnovers(only bad thing)
    7 rebounds
Not too bad of a line right? Right.

Lillards line in game 2 vs CP3.(Remember Aldridge dropped 37/12 in this game)[Blazers lost 100-94]
    15 points
    5-16 FG + 4-9 from deep.
    1-2 FT
    4 assists, 3 turnovers, 1 steal.
    3 rebounds.
Not too bad, but not Lillard like no.

Game 3 has been thrown out apparently, and game 4 is coming up the 1st.

TLDR I don't fear the clippers nor do I believe CP3 makes Lillard useless..... Nor do I feel like they'd handle the Blazers... Infact I feel the Clippers could be the 2nd weakest team that will make the playoffs in the west this year.

They might complain a lot, and it might effect calls. But it's just as annoying to listen to someone bring it up over and over again.
Players do their jobs and play through it... Do your jobs and announce though it!

.500 on the road is good enough to win playoffs if you have home court advantage.

Lillard grabbed 18 rebounds in our last game vs Clippers. Beast.

I want the final standings to look like this:

    1. Warriors
    2. Blazers
    3. Rockets
    4. Grizzlies
    5. Spurs
    6. Clippers
    7. Mavs
    8. Thunder

I think it would be our best shot at the WCF.

Dallas then Houston/LA. I think we can win those series each in 6 games max. On the other side of the bracket any combo of the 4 teams matching up will be a battle and a harder road.

Technically I said Crawford, Redick and CP3 were Blazer killers over the years. I simply said Blake plays well against us. (he averaged 35 pts against us last year)

I second this. If GS and Atlanta get upset (very possible), we have HCA throughout the playoffs.

New York made it to the finals on the road as well. I'm curious how many made it to the finals being on the road. How made it to WCF on the road?

But they didn't win which is the goal and all I care about. Houston was the only team that won.

In the end, who knows how it'll work out. Houston thought they were going to WCF last year because they were on, in their opinion, "the right side of the bracket." They were 7-1 against Blazers and Spurs during regular season.

There are 8 teams every year that have HCA at least in the first round and don't win in the finals. There are teams many teams that had HCA throughout the playoffs and lost in the first round.

Dude. Someone said HCA doesn't matter and I said the truth that only ONE team has won a championship without it so yes, home court advantage is important. Most likely, you won't win four straight series without it. You and I are on the same page. You want HCA, right?

HCA doesn't guarantee you'll win but it is very unlikely you'll win the title without HCA in any series. You can win one series without HCA like we did last year but you won't win it all. Very unlikely.

Rooting to move up in the standings for a date with Dallas or any scenario that doesn't involve us playing San Antonio.

Absolutely, but I won't think the season is over because we don't have it.

It only needs to happen once to make it possible. It has happened, therefor that statement is true.

i believe until the fat lady sings

Absolutely but we WILL have HCA and said poster was saying it wasn't important, that we shouldn't even aim for it. Rooting for the Clippers to win the rest of their games? That is just stupid.

I 100% agree that you want to secure HCA for the entire playoffs. I would much rather have more home games than our opponent.
