Wright is a very gifted athlete and freak of nature who can play some outstanding defense and rebound. But on the other hand Wright has the physical style most similar to Bosh and has some certain finnesse and agility that Bosh posseses. To me Wright is a combination of the two.</div> You stretching it with the Dwight Howard comparison.

Dwight: Huge, wide, muscular, limited offensive game, defensive force, powerhouse. ????????

They are both black, over 6'9", both play basketball and both will be NBA players before the age of 20. So PFF is right, they are comparable.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pacers fan forever @ May 28 2007, 09:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Brandan Wright = Undeveloped Chris Bosh or Dwight Howard...</div>Not really, Brandan Wright isn't like Dwight Howard at all. Dwight Howard is a power house type player, uses his back to the basket, back down and spin moves mostly to get his points. Brandan Wright doesn't back down to many people, he more uses his face up game to take people off the dribble. He also has a mid range shot, the ability to play farther away from the basket. I don't see at all how he can be like Dwight Howard.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (austingriz @ May 29 2007, 11:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Greg Oden-Patrick EwingKevin Durant-Carmelo Anthony(probably better defender; if you look at both styles, they play alot alike. Please dont take this wrong and think im comparing because both were incredible freshman)Brandan Wright-IMO, hes like a underdeveloped Tayshaun Prince...thats just me thoughThadeuss Young-Andre IgoudalaAl Horford-Sean May sortveIts hard to put a mark on these players...it isnt as cutout as before draft classes.</div>Other than the the Brandan Wright and Tayshaun Prince comparison which has been talked about, I have a couple of others that I don't agree with. For one is the Al Horford and Sean May comparison. Sean May doesn't have the type of defense that Horford brings to the table, with Horfords shot blocking and man to man defense, nor is he as strong of a rebounder as Horford is. Sean May is also a shorter but stockier player compared to Horford, as May is about 6'9 and 265, while Horford is about 6'10-245.
Horford might be a little bit of a younger Vin Baker in terms of frame and skills. NBADraft.net says Carlos Boozer, which doesn't seem to be a reach but is probably not on the mark.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Greg Oden - Hakeem OlajuwonKevin Durant - Tracy McGrady (On steriods).</div>I like both of these comparisons. I don't think Oden will ever be as gifted in the post as Olajuwon, but I think he will be as dominant defensively. As for Durant/T-Mac, I think Durant will be like T-Mac when he first arrived in Orlando. Very athletic, a slasher, very good rebounder, very good midrange game, and all the while with that long, skinny 6'9'' body.
