That espn site has New Orleans pick showing, with 'Chad Ford's Best Available' as Anthony Davis, then Damian Lillard. Huh?

Their team needs are listed as (in order) PF, PG, SF. The best available has Davis listed under overall, he fills the PF need, therefore PG is their next need. Lillard is under PG.

In Ogden UT on vacation. Thought about going to the draft party at Weber State, but realized that Lillard is probably in the green room. Wife and kids going horse-back riding so I can watch the draft in peace.

Yep. Odd way to show it. If they pass on Davis, I doubt they would go with Lillard because of team needs.

Spurs are shopping forward DeJuan Blair, league sources tell Y! Spurs have Euro picks they could bring over next season, need roster space.

I'd be surprised if the Blazers don't have a little something up their sleeves. Maybe buying a late pick or trading their two seconds for a late first. I also wouldn't be surprised if the #11 is in play, but I think they will keep #6. It may not be super exciting, but I think it's the right course of action. Earlier this summer it sounded like the management was convinced we could "reload", now it sounds like they are more realistic and we need to "rebuild". So keeping our picks isn't super sexy, but it's a good thing!

Personally, I think keeping the #6 is fine, as someone good will be there. I would see how tough it would be to turn the #11 into the #8 or #9 in case Drummond slips. He may not be worth our #6, but I would still roll the dice on him if the price was a little less.

I hope so. I hope at some point this afternoon, PA is cutting a check for 3 million to sweeten the Blazers draft day.

He has made at least one trade in the past 8 drafts. So we know he'll at least be trying!

First, there's NO way, NO WAY that WAS is trading the #3 pick if Beal is on the board.

Secondly, I think it's odd that the only picks that aren't being tossed around as being trade bait are 6 and 11, and the only one of the big 6 or 7 that hasn't been said to be in play for us is MKG. It could mean that we are standing pat and/or we don't like MKG. But I find it interesting to look at what isn't being said.

I could see Waiters going high. Hopefully not to us, and definitely not using the #3 if Beal's on the board. But CLE? Sure, why not?

I'm sure Oshley knows PA is willing to CTC to buy a pick or sweeten a deal, remember, he can probably find a couple of mil under his couch cushions.

What if we're trading up to #3 WITHOUT dealing #6?

Must be such an odd feeling for him, coming from LAC.
