Yea jackson is a down field threat, but so is Holmes. Holmes has one thing that Jackson doesnt, ablity to make a 5 yard route and 30 yard gain. Holmes has the ablity to break tackles and the agilty to juke those guys out. Holmes has better route running than Jackson.

Ashlie Lelie is the an exact copy of Chad Jackson, so why do u need two? You need a downfield threat and a guy who can catch the imederite routes and catches over the middle, and Holmes is the best WR for this offense.

I disagree with Lelie and Jackson being copies. Lelie is more of a deep threat and Jackson is more of a balanced WR. He can move the chains or make a deep play. Jackson also has much better hands than Holmes. Jackson has really climbed the charts and from what I've read Denver likes him more than Holmes. Jacksons status is kinda like Troy Williamsons. Williamsons stock rose a lot after a solid combine and Jacksons combine is regarded as better than Williamsons.

With the top 2 WR prospects going back to back the Vikings will likely turn to the other side of the ball to find their 1st round selection. Tamba Hali & Manny Lawson would be at the top of my board if I were in Minnesota's shoes. Ernie Sims & Tye Hill should earn some serious consideration as well.

Hali can only be a DE in the NFL.
Lawson can only be WLB in the 3-4...

Considering they've used first round picks on Kenechi Udeze and Erasmus James DE makes no sense at all and drafting a 3-4 LB while running a 4-3 cover 2 makes no sense at all either.

They need a LB and since it's my pick I'm going with Greenway. Him or Sims would make the most sense here.

Chargers lose out on the WR. Do they go with Marcus McNeil?

McNeil has a small spine, which is really scaring off teams, because in the nfl you have to put a lot of weight on your back, and he could have a serious back injury.

I think they should draft a DB like Donte Witner or Tye Hill. They are in a pass happy division and they need someone to cover Randy Moss, Porter, Lelie and Rod Smith.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>Ken Dorsey would of went #1 overall if teams factored in stats and only stats which your doing in this case panthersare1..

Chad Jackson has shown on a consistent basis to have better hands than anyone in the Draft. He's done all the workouts and he's done them better than anyone else. He has the height on Holmes.. and lets not act like he's not a big play threat either. In 2004 he averaged over 20 yards a catch and had 6 TD's... before getting hurt I believe.

Jackson has become the #1 WR in this draft because of what he's done at his workouts. Amazing combine in which where he was clocked in at a 4.32 40 yard dash and an amazing pro day. At the skills challenge he caught 10 more balls than the 2nd place guy.</div>
Does this draft have a notable WR's, besides him?

Or what I am saying is this a WR draft this year?

No WR is probably the weakest position in this draft.

For the Pats they definetly need a DB like Jonthan Joseph from South Carolina who ran a 4.31 or Manny Lawson. I vote for Manny Lawson here to replace McGinest.

I'd go with DeAngelo Williams here. BPA and the Broncos are in the market for another back.

Though I would of taken Williams at #21.. and Kamerion Wimbley over the most overrated player on message boards Manny Lawson but that's me..

I'm going to pick up defense with this pick someone on the defensive line. DeAngelo Williams is gone though or maybe another RB but the draft is deep for RB's this year. You can get a quailty back in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think Tampa will go with Eric Winston. They really need line help, and Winston is a very athletic LT.

Marcus McNeil would be my here. He had a great season. Good combine and very very solid pro day from what I read. I think he's really solified himself as the #3 OT in this draft. He can play LT or RT or even OG. He's a mountain at 6-7 345.. His back has checked out fine according to teams. McNeil from Auburn makes the most sense here.
