Why do people have strong takes about players when they admit they haven't even seen them play? Is it one of those taking a stance just to take one type things?

So you're saying GoBlazersGo admitted he hasn't seen him play? Interesting considering he never said that in this thread.

I'm talking about you. I've seen him play 4 games this season and several last season.

I'll just add that I've seen him play and I agree with the draft sites RoyToy mentioned. I also heard this year is the first year he has actually been asked to be a pure point guard and he has flourished.

Is there a point in this thread where I posted a strong take on McCamey? No. In fact, I said I still need to see him play. Sounds like the opposite of a strong take to me.

    Keep up.

Nice insight and good to hear.

4 different places now where it's been said McCamey looks good as a PG. I'm noticing a trend here.

BS. He's been a PG since he came to Illinois.

Meanwhile, continue to have a stance regarding him.

Jimmer had 47 tonight in a win over rival Utah. He's definitely a gifted scorer.

I've watched McCamey play. Love him and want him. And the most consistent comparison I have seen and heard for him, and sure it might be because of the school, is Deron Williams. Hope he stay smid to low first so we can grab him, but he'll move up.

I just got done watching Fredette playing against #4 San Diego State. He put up 43 like it was nothing. Splitting double teams, crossover pull up jumpers, floaters in the lane. I'm starting to think he might have a future in the league.

It will certainly be interesting to see. I admit I've only seen him play twice, does it look like he can be a PG at all? Or will he just have to be a shooting/scoring guard?

Yeah, he definitely has playmaking abilities. Great at drawing in defenses and dishing to the open big man.

That means we won't have a shot at him.

Pretty sure POR has interest in him, before he pulled out of the draft last year, he was scheduled to come to POR for a workout....

He'd be a good Steve Blake type to compliment Roy's superstar talents.

He's not as one dimensional on offense like Blake is. He reminds me of Dana Barros.

Actually I was thinking more Jaycee Carroll mixed with a little bit of Adam Morrison. He looks like a great college scorer and has really nice range, but he's going to get beat like a rented mule on defense.
