    I would love to get Griffin in a trade down scenario. Great shooter, great size and length, good instincts, untapped potential. Billups and his staff would be good for him as there’s more in there to pull out.

    I like AJ - the only concern (other than his defense) is his left knee (dislocated in 2020), which he sprained earlier in the season this year.

    Unless that is Grant Hill from 30 years ago, this would be among one of the stupidest and moronic trade scenarios in Blazers history, and that INCLUDES trading the time when they traded Ha Seung Jin for a bucket of bolts.

    The article mentions how his defense has taken a step back. Combine that with his inefficient shooting and his paltry rebounding, and the extension should scare a lot of teams. With all that, he would be an improvement for the Blazers wing situation, but at that future cost, I don't think it would be a wise investment.

    he only makes sense if he comes with other assets, like a lower first, but Detroit doesn’t have an extra one any time soon.

    Nah I don’t think so. We have seen Grant on winning teams. He left that to go to Detroit to boost his numbers. Wiggins was on a shitty team with a losing culture and he got traded to a winning team with a winning culture and they unlocked his potential. I wanted to trade CJ for him back in the day and I was rebuffed. Grant is a decent player on a good team but he’s not an all star.
